TERJEMAH AL-QURAN BAHASA JAWA BANYUMASAN: EPISTEMOLOGI DAN KONTRIBUSINYA DALAM MELESTARIKAN BAHASA LOKAL

This study aims to analyze the epistemology of "Al-Quran and Banyumasan Javanese Translation" (hereinafter abbreviated as QTJB) compiled by 10 translators with different scientific backgrounds. research is qualitative which to: 1) determine background compilation a description social space when translation compiled; 2) knowing source method translation; 3) contribution Al-Quran in Banyumas language preserving local languages, especially language. found that QTJB manuscript uses ḥarfiyyah well ṭafsīriyyah armed Koran its (QTK) published Ministry Religion main reference several classical commentaries Banyumas-Indonesian dialect dictionary. The results translating into form manuscripts did not add new vocabulary vocabulary, but took another preservation reintroducing vocabulary. forgotten words almost wiped out from today's society.
